Product performance:
Sodium bezoate appears as white crystals or powder, soluble in water but nearly insoluble in organic solvents. Its antibacterial effect is most effective under acidic conditions, with a pH range of 2-6 being the most effective. Sodium bezoate is relatively stable and can withstand room temperature and short-term heat treatment, but it readily decomposes in alkaline environments. Its solutions are weakly alkaline or neutral with a slightly acidic odor, and it exhibits good dispersibility and compatibility with food systems.
